I currently work for leading UK hair and beauty PR agency, LWPR. My role largely consists of managing social media and copywriting for brands including ghd, Schwarzkopf Professional and Indola, salons including Trevor Sorbie, Hooker and Young and Daniel Granger, events including the British Hairdressing Awards, Pro Beauty Live and Salon International and the hairdressing industry body, the Fellowship for British Hairdressing.
Key projects have included writing and editing ghd's education materials, creating an exhaustive international trend report for their SS17 Wanderlust campaign and managing their professional social media channels. For Schwarzkopf Professional, I produce their social media strategy, create two consumer magazines for use in salon, produce monthly enewsletters and write regular press releases to support their international releases.
For the other clients I work with, work ranges from social media management, reporting and event coverage to copywriting, research and editing.
For the last two seasons, I have produced and edited copy for ghd's education prospectus and newly-launched online education hub, both for the UK and Australia/NZ markets.
I was closely involved in the relaunch of Schwarzkopf Professional's BLONDME range, producing and editing features for their consumer magazine, writing copy for their microsite and producing press releases for both the trade and consumer press.
I write and edit features for the Fellowship for British Hairdressing's magazine and annual Yearbook, including interviewing British Hairdresser of the Year, Angelo Seminara and collating the biggest stories from across the industry for their news pages.
